Jake Williams

Partner

Williams was honorably discharged from the US military in 2017 after 12 years of service in the Naval Special Operations community. Jake Served at SEAL Team SEVEN, and was an instructor at Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training and SEAL Qualification Training.

During his tenure, Jake conducted 5 combat deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His many combat commendations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal with combat valor, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with combat valor, the Army Commendation Medal, and numerous other joint and individual awards. He was awarded the Admiral Ricketts Award for Inspirational Leadership. As a SEAL student, he was selected by his peers and instructor cadre as the class Honorman.

After transitioning out of the Navy, Jake has led large-scale construction and development projects, advised AI companies, and co-founded a security consulting company that works with both the public and private sectors. He also serves on multiple boards of veteran transition programs. He is a native of the San Fernando Valley in California. He enlisted in the Navy in 2005 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in November of 2006. Jake holds a B.S. in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University and a Master of Business for Veterans from the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife and four children.

Robin Miller

Partner

Robin Miller retired from the US military in 2018 after 20 years of service in the Naval Special Operations community. Robin Served at SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team One, SEAL Team Five, Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team Six), and Instructor duty at SEAL Qualification Training.

During his tenure, Robin conducted 11 combat deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and several other missions worldwide. His many combat commendations include the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with combat valor, The Purple Heart, three Joint Service Commendation Medals with combat valor, three Navy and Marine Commendation Medals with combat valor, two Presidential Unit Citations, and numerous other joint and individual awards.

Shortly after retirement, Robin co-founded a security consulting company that works with both the public and private sectors. He also volunteers his time with veteran focused non-profits. Robin is a native of Pasadena, Ca. He enlisted in the Navy in 1998 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in October of 1999. Robin holds a B.S. in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University. He currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife and son.

Corell Thomas

VP of Operations

Corell Thomas brings extensive expertise to Fortified Risk Group as the Vice President of Operations. With six years of active duty in the Air Force and 15 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality security, and executive protection, Corell has safeguarded high-net-worth clients, athletes, performers, and political figures. Additionally, Corell is a certified Weapons and Tactics Instructor and a Defensive Tactics Instructor, further enhancing his comprehensive skill set in security operations.

Richard Browning

Operations Manager

Richard Browning is a US Marine Corps veteran with over 20 years of experience in Business Administration, Sales, and Security. During his time in the Marine Corps, Richard deployed to Iraq and served in Security Forces and Infantry roles. After his military service, Richard attended seminary and trained for the ministry. Subsequently, he transitioned into a business career, supporting companies in various industries, including Hospitality, Insurance, Accounting, Business Management Software, and Healthcare Software.

Richard brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and professionalism to Fortified Risk Group.

Preston Kelley

Director of HR

Preston Kelley, a native of Pulaski, TN, leads the Human Resources operations at Fortified Risk Group. With a robust background in operational partnership, Preston specializes in developing HR functions that align with the company's mission and core values.

Preston attended Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, TN, and actively participates in the Society of Human Resources Management. His previous experience includes senior HR roles in various industries, including medical, retail, and hospitality.
